Chelsea and Sarri's representatives to continue discussions - Italian sources
Discussions are now set to continue today but Chelsea have reiterated that they are ready to pay the €8million release clause in Sarri's contract even though He has been sacked by Napoli, but Chelsea are also hoping to reach a compromise with Antonio Conte as it can also cost them £9milliom to part ways with him.
Chelsea already knows that it would be useless to continue with Antonio Conte who seems to be "discouraged" and only interested in receiving his parting compensation.
A two year contract has been proposed to Maurizio Sarri by Chelsea and an agreement with Napoli not to pay his clause but include players such as David Luiz is also a possibility.
It is also reported that Sarri has already lined up his former players for Chelsea, the likes of Albiol, Hysaj and Zilenski. The list also includes long term Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly who Chelsea were close to signing in the summer of 2016. There could also be an interesting deal with Juventus who have held talks with Morata and are ready to displace striker Higuain. Higuain was a key part of Sarri's Napoli before he was sold to Juventus so it won't be a surprise if Sarri is interested in a reunion at Chelsea.
Nevertheless discussions will continue today between Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri and if things works out well between both parties it is expected that contract can even be signed today or better still it could be sorted out.
