Chelsea striker confirms He is staying and going nowhere

Despite recent reports that Chelsea striker and record signing Alvaro Morata has asked to leave the club after his troubled first season in  England, it now looks like He might stay afterall if His latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

Morata was bought from Real Madrid last summer for a reported £60m to replace outgoing star Diego Costa, but it was a move many believed didn't live up to its required expectations after He scored just 15 goals in about 42 appearances all season.

It was no surprise when there were speculations linking him with a move away from the club this summer with claims that He's no longer ready to test himself in the Premier league anymore with a move back to Italy mooted.

It was also suggested that Maurizio Sarri who is set to take over from Antonio Conte has lined up Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain as his replacement should He be appointed as the next Chelsea manager as they've previously worked together at Napoli.

Morata himself have now looked to quench those reports after posting on his Instagram page that He is "very excited to start again" with Chelsea Preseason training due to start for non-World cup players on July 2nd.

He said "Very excited to start again. The past was hard but that is only one more reason to begin fighting again."
