Chelsea makes contact with Higuain's agent

Chelsea have reportedly enquired about the availability of Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain in the last couple of hours with a view of making an official bid in a few days.

Italian giants Juventus are ready to sell the 30 year old Argentine who scored 23 goals in all competitions last season to fund their own move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi. A move for Chelsea's out of form striker Alvaro Morata  is also on the cards.

Chelsea are also believed to be interested in a move for Mauro Icardi but without Champions league football next season, there is no way they can pull that off.

Chelsea have not yet announced the appointment of a new manager but they are thinking about the future which makes them to contact Higuian's brother and agent Nicolas about a possible move to Stamford bridge this summer.

Higuain is also said to be interested in a move to the Premier league and also knowing there is a possibility of linking up with his former boss Maurizio Sarri who is still the front runner for the hot seat at Stamford bridge.

Higuain will turn 31 in December and with a weight of 89kg leads many to suggest there may be a breakthrough in negotiation with Maurizio Sarri in the past few days for Chelsea to have contacted him as He is a favorite of the Italian while they were together in Napoli.
